My working career started out in motor racing, building precision race and road engines where attention to detail was essential. This developed into actual car production and restoration. Quality, performance and reliability were top of the objectives and successes were achieved in various race series and world record attempts.

I had a great interest in electrics throughout that time and decided to pursue a change of career. Three years of college and part time work alongside another electrician followed, and eventually I took the plunge to start up on my own. I haven’t looked back since!

I love the fact I meet new people and face new jobs each day – the same job in two different houses can be leagues apart in terms of what is actually required. Every day I learn something new and this inspires great confidence in my work.

I haven’t lost my passion for racing, and closely follow the British and World Superbikes, and the Moto GP, and any opportunity to get to Brands Hatch for the day is snapped up! I also have quite a keen interest in car cleaning and power tools…
